Our Mission
Players by the Sea School of the Arts is dedicated to offering a multi-faceted theater program that teaches students of diverse backgrounds the acting process while building their self-esteem and developing their creativity.
Our program stresses tolerance, ensemble acting, and trust development among the actors.
Whether you choose an introductory or in-depth experience, PBTS School of the Arts provides a unique opportunity for young people to utilize their imaginations in a group setting, expressing themselves in wonderful and unexpected ways.






How to Register:
Download registration form and mail to: Players by the Sea, 106 North Sixth St. Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250 with your deposit, (check, money order accepted)to secure your child’s place or you may fax form with Credit Card information to 249-0214. Visa and MasterCard are accepted.
A School of the Arts staff member will contact you to confirm availability and set up an interview if necessary.
Questions? Please call during business hours , Tuesday through Friday, 10:00am to 4:00pm 249-028 or e-mail: barbara@playersbythesea.org. Please include your child’s name, age, grade, what class they are interested in taking, phone number and the best time to reach you.
She will help you determine what class is best suited for your child based on age and experience.
Important School Policies
Refunds/Cancellation: Deposits for fall registration are refundable if you cancel prior to the first day of class. Fees for classes cannot be transferred to other sessions. PBTS reserves the right to cancel classes that do not have an enrollment of eight or more students before the first class. Classes, faculty, and schedule are subject to change.
Discounts
Individual Registration: Receive 10% off class tuition if you have more than one student from your family registered for any class (1st class at full price, any additional classes receive 10% off).
Scholarship: A limited amount of scholarship dollars are available and are allocated based on need and on a first-come first-served basis. Please contact Barbara Williams at 249-0289.

The School of the Arts is committed to offering classes of the highest quality, therefore it is essential that students are placed in classes appropriate for their age and experience level. We strive to keep our classes small so that our teachers are both able to stimulate creativity of a child in a group setting as well as meet their individual artistic goals.
